We fly for food.
Hungry Departure was born from a simple idea - that Europe's most legendary dishes deserve more than a footnote in a holiday itinerary. So we built a site dedicated to flying somewhere purely to eat one thing, then coming home.
One city. One dish. One flight. We do the research; you do the eating. The whole point is the dish - everything else (the photos, the cobblestones, the second espresso) is a bonus.
How we make money
Some of our flight and insurance links are affiliate links. If you book through them, we get a small commission at no extra cost to you. We never recommend a dish, a restaurant, or a flight route based on what pays us - only on what's worth flying for. If a pilgrimage doesn't deserve to be here, it's not here.
